We're Hiring: Education Program Coordinator (full-time) Collections Assistant (Graduate student, part-time)
Landmarks is the Public Art Program of the University of Texas at Austin. Our program aims to enrich the lives of students and visitors by presenting art that is broadly accessible and free to all. More than forty works of modern and contemporary art are on view throughout the 433-acre campus. The collection not only enhances the beauty of the landscape, but also supports scholarship and learning by demonstrating significant art historical trends from the past seven decades. Works of public art have the capacity to resonate deeply, stimulate curiosity, and inspire the imagination in unexpected ways. We are looking for team workers who can help fulfill this goal.
The Education Program Coordinator develops and manages all educational content, public programs, and related special events for Landmarks. This position also manages student volunteers and employees within the docent program and Turrell Skyspace team.
The Collections Assistant cares for the Landmarks public art collection on the UT Austin campus. This position manages Landmarks' Preservation Guild volunteers and conducts basic conservation and maintenance needs for the collection.
