Activity Guides

Activity guides are available for three stages of development: younger children, older children and adolescents. Each guide suggests an activity that demonstrates a relevant theme. To begin, it is recommended that students identify as much of the following as age appropriate:

  • Name of the artist
  • Artist’s country of origin
  • Year the artist was born
  • Name of the work
  • Medium of the work
  • Background of the artist
  • Style of the artist

An overview of each work of art, questions to consider when viewing, and a glossary of related terms is also included in each guide. For more information about individual works, please visit the Artists page and bibliographic resources.

All of the art featured in these guides is part of the Landmarks collection. Works are located throughout the main campus and may be found by following the Campus Map (pdf) or Google Map.
