Online Event: Celebrating "C-010106"

Join Landmarks and artist Sarah Oppenheimer for an online celebration of C-010106, the newest addition to the university's public art collection. Sited on a newly constructed pedestrian bridge at the Cockrell School of Engineering, C-010106 consists of two glass structures that create unexpected sightlines and opportunities for social exchange.

The celebration will feature Oppenheimer in conversation with Lumi Tan, senior curator at The Kitchen in New York and curatorial contributor for this project, and Andrée Bober, Landmarks' founding director and curator. They will discuss Oppenheimer’s process for creating and engineering the work, the ways in which it responds to the site, and the artist’s interest in the built environment.

The event will also feature a video premiere of a new work of choreography by ARCOS, inspired by C-010106

This event is free and open to the public. Register at LandmarksRSVP.org
