UT Austin STEM Girl Day

Discover STEM through art on campus as part of STEM Girl Day at UT Austin. Presented by Women in STEM (WiSTEM), the event offers K-8th graders a chance to explore STEM through grade-appropriate, hands-on activities hosted by scientists, engineers, astronomers, mathematicians and other STEM enthusiasts from student organizations, research centers, corporate partners and community organizations. All genders are welcome!

Landmarks will be leading a hands-on activity at the site of Mark di Suvero's Clock Knot. Learn about the ways di Suvero incorporated structural engineering in his work by creating your own cantilever sculptures. WiSTEM will be handing out Landmarks scavenger hunts to encourage visitors to explore other works in the collection.
