2022 Doty Fine Arts Award

Last weekend, the College of Fine Arts celebrated the 2022 Doty Fine Arts Award. The award, named for the founding dean of the College of Fine Arts, recognizes individuals or organizations who have distinguished themselves through extraordinary professional achievement and/or demonstrated long-term dedication to the college.

Recipients this year included the Still Water Foundation, which received the 2022 E. William Doty Award, the highest honor bestowed by the college. Fairfax Dorn, co-founder of Ballroom Marfa, received the distinguished Alumna Award. The Young Alumnus Award went to award-winning Chicago and Los Angeles-based playwright and screenwriter, Isaac Gómez.
