Last fall, we announced our forth season of Listening with Landmarks, a digital initiative in which Austin music notables were invited to create playlists in response to their favorite works of art from our collection. This past season contributors included BettySoo, Bruce Robison, Chief Cleopatra, The Octopus Project, Sun June, and many others who added to our archive of almost 40 curated playlists!
NOW IT’S YOUR TURN! We invite you to create your very own Spotify playlist in response to a work in our collection! Playlists may include any musical genres and songs, provided they contain no offensive language or content. Landmarks staff will choose 1-2 playlists to be featured on our Spotify channel, website, social media platforms and in our monthly eNews, PLUS the winning contributors will receive a Landmarks tote bag and catalog!
To submit your playlist for consideration, please send a link to a Spotify playlist you have created, along with the title of the Landmarks work of art that inspired it to Logan Larsen (Logan.larsen@landmarksut.org). The deadline for submission is Friday, July 14.
Note: Those without Spotify may simply send us a list of songs and we will create the playlist for you!
