Landmarks Awarded National Endowment for the Arts Grant

We are thrilled to share that Landmarks was recently awarded $30K from the National Endowment for the Arts! Part of the NEA's "Art Works" funding program, our grant will be used to support a digital video this fall in Welch Hall.

This year, fifty-three arts organizations in Texas received a total of $1,215,000 from the NEA, including our Austin-based peers Austin Film Society, Creative Action, Mexic-Arte Museum, and ZACH Theatre, among others.

Established by Congress in 1965, National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is the independent federal agency whose funding and support gives Americans the opportunity to participate in the arts, exercise their imaginations, and develop their creative capacities. Through partnerships with state arts organizations, local leaders, other federal agencies, and the philanthropic sector, the NEA supports arts learning, affirms and celebrates America's rich and diverse cultural heritage, and extends its work to promote equal access to the arts in every community across America.
