Megan McKenzie joins LANDMARKS communications team

Landmarks is pleased to welcome Megan McKenzie as its communications intern this summer. A Plan II and Art History major at UT, Megan will assist the communications team with social media, blog posts, and media outreach, among other priorities.

“As a UT student, Landmarks’ works of public art have shaped my time on this campus, both as geographical landmarks and communal experiences with my peers. I'm excited to work with Landmarks because there's an opportunity for me to raise awareness among my peers about the program.”

Some fun facts about Megan are:

  • Owns 15 houseplants
  • DJ’ed for KVRX, specializing in '80s and '90s goth and post-punk music
  • Studied abroad in London during the Spring 2019 semester
  • Just finished reading her 20th book this year — and it’s only June!

The communications team looks forward to working with Megan and all at Landmarks are grateful to Jereann Chaney and the College of Fine Arts whose generous support made this internship possible.
