Songs in the Skyspace

Songs in the Skyspace is Landmarks' monthly music series hosted inside James Turrell’s Skyspace, The Color Inside. The program represents a diverse mix of voices and instruments and offers a unique way to engage with Turrell’s elegant light sequence.

Songs in the Skyspace runs monthly on select evenings during the sunset light sequence. Free reservations are required and can be made online. Please note that reservations tend to fill up three weeks in advance of performances.

During UT's summer session, May 6 - August 27, the Skyspace will not be accessible due to planned renovations of the (WCP) rooftop. Nightly sunset viewings and the popular music program, Songs in the Skyspace, resume in the fall.

Standby at Sunset

Landmarks can accommodate standbys on a first-come, first-served basis. Standby visitors are encouraged to arrive at the Skyspace thirty minutes before sunset to join the list. Once the light sequence begins, no-show reservations will be released and standby guests will be accommodated as space permits.

Landmarks thanks KMFA 89.5, Austin’s independent classical station, for their support of this program.
