Landmarks Attends Skyspace Conference

Last week Landmarks Director Andrée Bober and Assistant Director Nisa Mason returned from a Skyspace Conference in Sweden hosted by Kulturhuset Ytterjärna. The conference was a coming together of Skyspace owners from around the world to talk about their various projects and share information related to maintenance and preservation. Bober and Mason gave a presentation on Landmarks’ new Skyspace, which will open to the public on the rooftop of the Student Activity Center at The University of Texas at Austin this fall 2013. Artist James Turrell was present at the conference in Sweden and will travel to UT Austin in the fall for a special Q&A as part of the Skyspace opening celebration on campus.
